List of Municipalities in the Department of Córdoba
As a Schwarzenburg supremacy, several regions were designated in Central and Southern Thuringia. Since the 12th century, they belonged to the counts of the Blacksburg counts and thus to the Schwarzburg county. In 1571 it was divided according to the Treaty of Speyer. At the time, the counties of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen and Schwarzburg-Frankenhausen in North Thuringia, which together form the Schwarzburg sub-government and the county of Schwarzburg-dominion, were newly developed. As a state with the capital Rudolstadt, it existed for only three years (from 1571 to 1574), but the designation "Oberherrschaft" for all areas of Schwarzburg south of Erfurt remained. In 1574 the county of Schwarzburg-Oberherrschaft was divided into the counties of Schwarzburg-Arnstadt in the west and Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt in the east.
