In Greek mythology, Eurytion, son of Actor and Demonassa (or Iros, a son of Actor), is the king of Phthia. He is said to have cleansed Peleus of the murder of Phocos and to have given him his daughter Antigone and a third of his kingdom (according to tradition, this fact is attributed to Actor). But he was later accidentally killed by his son-in-law when hunting Calydon's wild boar.
