Coin to Arolsen
From the first third of the 18th century, the coin was placed in the west wing of the Residenzschloss Arolsen
The coin to Arolsen was a mint in the 18th and in the first half of the 19th century of the county Waldeck in Arolsen. The coin closed in 1842. The coin was at least since 1734 in the west wing of the princely residence lock Arolsen accommodated. R. F. Welle was Coinmaster of Arolsen in 1813.
As early as 1837, the new Silbergroschen, which had been borrowed from the Prussian coins, had been greatly influenced in Arolsen with a view to joining the Zollverein. The coin was at that time a subsidiary of a blacksmith and coined the last time in 1839. Subsequent waldeck embossing orders went to Prussian mints. Single-level Edit source text
