Martín de Herrera


Martín de Herrera (Herrera del Duque, Badajoz, July 29, 1573) was a warrior of Felipe II in America. His uncle was Martín Gómez de Herrera, chaplain of New Kings in the Holy Cathedral Church of Toledo, one of the official pantheons of the kings of Castile. Trajectory

In America, in New Spain, was alguacil mayor in several cities of the Marquesado del Valle. He joined Pedro de Azcoeta, governor of Cartagena de Indias.
