José Doth de Oliveira
José Doth de Oliveira (born March 1, 1938 in Pedra Branca) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Iguatu. Edit LifeQualtext
José Doth de Oliveira received priest ordination for the diocese of Palmares on 13 December 1964.
Pope John Paul II appointed him on 23 December 1989 to the Coadjutorbischof Palmares. The Bishop of Iguatu, José Mauro Ramalho de Alarcón Santiago, gave him Bishops' ordination on the 13th of May next year; Co-criminals were Acácio Rodrigues Alves, Bishop of Palmares, and Jorge Tobias de Freitas, Bishop of Nazaré.
On 18 December 1991, he was appointed coadjutor bishop of Iguatu. With the emergence of José Mauro Ramalho de Alarcón Santiago on July 26, 2000, he succeeded him as bishop of Iguatu. He resigned from his office on 7 January 2009. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
