Ehrhard Johann (es) Brumhard (* 1692 in Coburg, † July 10, 1732 in Jena) was a German Protestant theologian and pietist. He came from Franconia and was one of the three sons of the Coburg minister, Johann Benedikt Brumhardt. During his studies, he had, among other things, Contact to August Hermann Francke. Thus, it was not the case that Ehrhard Johann also approached the Pietism of Halle. He stayed in Pölzig for a long time. In Jena, the place where his brother Johann Sebastian Brumhard worked, he received a position as deacon at the church of St. Michaelis in Jena on 6 February 1729. On the occasion of this occasion appeared the various verdict in the publishing house Ritter in Druck. He also served as pastor in Wenigenjena near Jena. His sermons were frequently visited by Jena students. After his early death at the age of 40, his brother Johann Sebastian Brumhard successfully continued his work in Jenas' student travels.
