Christoph Jelin
Christoph Jelin (* around 1550 in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany - 21 November 1610 Tübingen) was a German sculptor.
Where Jelin was trained is not known, but his work suggests a Dutch or Lower Rhine school. This style is supposed to have been found with Jelin for the first time in Württemberg. His works began in 1580, so the arrivals of the aristocracy in the Stuttgart church of Jelin. Various epitaphs in the church of Tübingen were created by Jelin, including the tomb of the Countess Eva Christina of Württemberg, the Duke Ludwig of Württemberg and the duchess Dorothea Ursula. The latter two were completed in 1593 by Jelin. At the Schloss Hohentübingen, Jelin 1606/1607 designed the sculpture jewelery on the lower portal.
