Vibrant single side velar
Error de Lua: bad argument #1 to 'isutf8' (string expected, got nil).
The vibrant simple velar side is an allophone of the velar lateral approximate in some languages of New Guinea, like Kanite and Melpa. The extremely short duration of the [ʟ] in the intervocalic position (20-30 ms) deserves to be called a vibrant, according to Peter Ladefoged and Ian Maddieson.
There is no specific symbol for this sound. However, a & lt; L & gt; in small case with extra-short diacritic, [ʟ̆], could be used to transcribe this sound.
