Hesham Tillawi

Hesham Tillawi (* 1964) is an American television talkmaster and political analyst from Louisiana.

He was elected Deputy President of the National Executive Committee of the Palestinian American Congress in 2004.

Tillawi moderates the weekly, two-hour TV show Current Issues. The program was first broadcast in an open channel. Later, she was taken over by Bridges TV, a Muslim cable network. In 2006 the program was deleted from the program and is now available again in the open channel and over the Internet.

In his show, Tillawi criticizes the treatment of the Arabs and Muslims by the State of Israel. He often uses anti-Semitic prejudices, such as, the alleged control of the media by Jews. He repeatedly interviewed known anti-Semites such as the former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke or Holocaust deniers such as Fredrick Toben, Mark Weber and Bradley Smith. According to the Anti-Defamation League, the show is a "speech tube for the Holocaust deniers". Further guests of the show were, among others, Congressman Paul Findley or the former Israeli nuclear technician Mordechai Vanunu. Norman Finkelstein was also guest in Tillawi's program and talked about his controversial book The Holocaust Industry. Single-level Edit source text
