Extended Stay Hotels

Extended Stay Hotels (ESH) is an American hotel chain.

In English, an extended-stay hotel is a type of accommodation that includes items not found in a standard hotel. With a growing demand for this new class of amenities, ESH continues to expand, currently offering more than 670 properties with nearly 73,000 rooms in almost all of the major metropolitan areas of the US.

The ESH symbol consists of four letters E in different positions, forming a four-pointed star in the middle. History

Extended Stay America (ESA) was founded in 1995. The following year, Extended Stay America acquired StudioPLUS, continuing its growth. During this time the company also acquired Crossland Economy Studios.

The Blackstone Group bought the company in 2004. This joined ESA with Homstead Studio Suites Hotels. This was originally called Homstead Village, founded in 1992 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with its first locations in Dallas and Houston.

In 2005, the new company launched its latest brand, Extended Stay Deluxe.
