Battle of the High Mirandinos

The Battle of the High Mirandinos was a battle of the Federal War fought in the region of the High Mirandinos (that includes Los Teques, Carrizal, San Antonio and San Pedro) in April of 1863. The federalist army of Guzmán White he approached Caracas and engaged in battle in the High Mirandinos. After several days of struggle, the government suggested a conference to end the war. On April 23, Guzmán Blanco and Pedro José Rojas were interviewed at the Coche hacienda, where they signed the treaty that ended the war.
