René Shield

René Schild (* 27 September 1983 in Aachen) is a former German cyclist.

Shield started in the years 2004 to 2006 for the UCI-registered cycling team ComNet-Senges. He won the silver medal at the 2004 German Elite Mountain Championships. In round Düren, a one-day race of the second UCI category, he became third in 2006 and won the Sprint rating during the same Rhineland-Palatinate tour.
