The company comes from Henninger Hellas S.A., the Greek division of the German brewery founded in 1970. In 1992, the Boutari Group acquired the company. Two years later, in 1994, it was renamed Northern Greece Brewery Ltd. renamed. In 1997 the beer myth was introduced as a lager beer, which was also renamed to Brewery. in the year 2001.
