Jochen Hageleit

Jochen Hageleit (* 1939; † 19 November 2010 in Dubai) was a German sports reporter.

Hageleit was one of the founders of the Bundesliga switching conference on the radio. On Saturday afternoon, he reported on the WDR 1 and later WDR 2 on WDR 1 and later WDR 2 with the broadcast "Sport und Musik" from home games of West German football teams such as MSV Duisburg, VfL Bochum, Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, Fortuna Düsseldorf, Wuppertaler SV, Schalke 04, Alemannia Aachen and Borussia Mönchengladbach. Hageleit was one of the colleagues of Armin Hauffe, Sammy Drechsel, Oskar Klose, Kurt Emmerich, Werner Hansch and Heribert Faßbender. Jochen Hageleit was one of the most distinctive football radio voices for years. His sonorous, but also dynamic voice immediately captivated the listeners. Hageleit's reports made the game lively, he described the event so vividly that the listener felt as if the speaker was moving into the stadium.

Hageleit died of a heart attack at the age of 71 years during a holiday in Dubai. Standard data (person): Wikipedia person search | No GND person record. Last review: January 10, 2015.
