Gemagrís

Gemagrís, also called Gray Gem or Grathanich, is a fictional magical gem from the fantasy novels Dragonlance. History

It was made by the god Reorx, who attempted to capture only a small part of Chaos, but did not actually take a single piece of it, but completely thrust Chaos into the gem. For this reason the gray gem is carrying chaos and wars over there where it passes. It has never been looked or felt in the same way by two people, being ever changing in size and appearance. The Gemadis is described so beautiful that it is horrible, so large that it is small, so luminous that it is boring.

In the decline of the dragons, which opens the doors to the Age of Mortals, the Irda ogres break the gem and Chaos is free, with such fury that devastates the island of the Irdas and decides to destroy the world that their sons built. Reorx tried to prevent the gem from breaking, but he arrived too late, there he encounters Chaos and he intimidates and threatens him. When it was split in half it was found to be hollow inside.
