Butisch

Butish is an ancient Egyptian form, developed from the pre-Dynastic sub-Egyptian royal tombs and the Crown sanctuary in Buto with the shrine Per-nu or Per-nes "Flame House". The form only exists in characters, since the precursor forms in Buto have been lost. This form was most clearly represented in royal sarcophagi of the 12th dynasty.

This is probably an oblong-rectangular building with a vaulted roof and high-profile corner supports made of wood and reeds. Later, bricks were used as a building material and the Butische were provided with a longitudinal bar and narrowed narrow sides.

Probably, the sub-Egyptian-based tile architecture ("Menes" -crab) has not developed from the Butisch. The form of the palms' pavilion or courtyards and rooms with palm columns are also interpreted as Butish, as the chapels were often under a palm tree. Edit source text Single-level Edit source text
