Andørja
Andørja was once a municipality in the county of Troms in Norway.
Andørja separated from Ibestad on July 1, 1926. At that time, Andørja had a population of 1,420. Andørja merged again with Ibestad on January 1, 1964 (along with a small part of Skånland). Its population was then 1,330.
Andørja is also the name of an island, whose name received the municipality. The island currently belongs to the municipality of Ibestad, and occupies an area of 135 km². The highest point is Langlitinden, at 1277 msnn. It is the highest point of insular Norway.
