Anacleto J. Girón
Tte. Colonel Anacleto J. Girón was a Mexican military man who participated in the Mexican Revolution. He was born in the town of Nuri, Municipality of Rosario of Tesopaco, Sonora. He joined the Mexican Revolution in 1911 and in 1912 fought the rebels of Pascual Orozco. In February of 1913 he did not know Victoriano Huerta, but he enlisted until September, with the rank of lieutenant colonel, in the forces of Francisco Villa. After the Taking of the city of Chihuahua, was in command of the garrison of said place. In April of 1914 participated in Toma de Torreón, but was shot by the own Villistas authorities, apparently because of their disorders. Bibliography
