The Ballyalton Court Tomb is located on a rocky outcrop near Ballyalton (Irish Baile Altúin), about 4.0 km east of Downpatrick, in County Down, Northern Ireland. Court Tombs belong to the megalithic chambergrabbers (English chambered tombs) of the British Isles. They are found in approximately 400 specimens almost exclusively in the north of Ireland and in Northern Ireland.

Six stones are preserved from the eastern courtyard. Two of them are the portal stones, a two-chambered gallery of which many stones survived, whose maximum height is about 1.0 m.

The excavation in 1933 yielded the fragmentary bones of at least seven individuals and shards of at least 20 decorated vessels. The term "Ballyalton Ware" or Ballaalton Bowls is applied to similar vessels from other sites. Numerous fire stones were found, including a diamond shaped arrowhead, several plano-convex knives, and some hollow scrapers. In the courtyards of two of the courts of the court were found broken axes of fire-stones.
