Johann Strauss Orchestra

The Johann Strauss Orchestra (Dutch Johann Strauß Orchestra) is a Dutch chamber orchestra founded by André Rieu in 1987. At the time of their first concert on January 1, 1988, the orchestra had 12 musicians. Currently, it is composed of 43 members and acts regularly with musicians and invited singers. The orchestra is well known for its interpretation of classical works with an unorthodox frivolity, joking with the public and performing all kinds of mischief during their performances. Members
