Bando kick boxing
Kick-kickboxing (amateurs). The kick boxing side is the modern form of the sport of lethwei, known in Europe as "Burmese boxing to the four arms."
Born in North America in the early 1960s. Wrestlers fight using their feet and fists (gloves covered) in a square ring. Starting in the 1970s several forms of full contact and kick-boxing were born.
In competition, there are two forms of struggle: the "light contact kick box", where the wrestlers are struck without injury, and the "full contact kick boxing" where they are allowed the powerful blows, intended for adults. Depending on the age and technical level, the rules and conditions of the competition are variable: they change authorized and prohibited techniques, fight time, type of fighting surface (ring or rug) and the use of certain protections (helmet, plastron (protector of the thorax and the abdomen), protectors of the tibias, flip-flops, etc.)
