Zacharias Cenita Jimenez received priest ordination on 17 April 1973 and was incardinated into the clergy of the Diocese of Tagbilaran. John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Pagadian on 2 December 1994.

The Pope personally consecrated him to the bishop on 6 January next year; Co-conspirators were Giovanni Battista Re, Substitute of the State Secretariat, and Jorge María Mejía, Secretary of the Congregation for the Bishops.

On June 11, 2003, he became Auxiliary Bishop in Butuan and Titular Bishop of Arba. He resigned from his office on 7 May 2009. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
