Martin Richards
Martin Richards is a computer programmer and computer science theorist. Creations It is known to have developed the computer language BCPL, which was the earliest development of an important language for portable software and is the predecessor of today's widely extended C language.
Richards studied mathematics at the University of Cambridge, conducting his doctoral thesis on the design and development of a language. He is a professor at Cambridge University.
