Declaration S1

The S1 is a declaration that is presented before a movement of 100,000 euros within the territory of the Spanish state or for payments or charges abroad equal to or greater than 10,000 euros by the individual who carries the means of payment. This declaration is presented in the Customs Services, by telematic means to the State Agency of the Tax Administration or in the Spanish financial institutions in certain cases. Failure to do so may result in the involvement of the Customs or the Police as well as the imposition of a penalty.
