Canton of Aurillac-2
The Canton of Aurillac-2 (officially, in French, Aurillac 2e Canton) is a French administrative division, in the district of Aurillac, department of Cantal, region of Auvergne. It was created in 1790 and consists of four communes: Aurillac (administrative center), Saint-Paul-des-Landes, Sansac-de-Marmiesse and Ytrac.
With this county are those of Jussac, Aurillac-1 and 3, in addition to Arpajon, Saint-Mamet-la-Salvetat and Laroquebrou. As far as its administration, its general advisor is Florence Marty of the Socialist Party that in 2008 replaced to Yves Debord of the same party. Marty won the election with 56% of the vote, beating rival Sylvie Lachaise in the second round. Notes
