Brown bear (ice cream)
Brauner Bär is a brand of the company Langnese ice cream for a milk ice cream on the stick. The caramel ice cream with caramel core and chocolate coating at the top was originally produced from 1974 to 1986. After two comebacks in 1995/1996 and 2001-2008, Langnese reintroduced the ice in his range in February 2017.
With the figure of a riding Indian with a feather, the packaging takes up the wild-west romanticism that has been popular among children in the 1970s, which has become popular through television broadcasts such as Bonanza and Rauchende Colts as well as the Winnetou Kinofilme. The brown bear was especially known for the caramel core, which is smaller and softer in the new editions than in the original version.
A similar ice sold the discounter Lidl, under the name Tipi TOE. This is also a milk ice cream with a chocolate coating and a caramel filling. On the packaging is shown an Indian with arrow and bow. The discounter Aldi also has a similar ice cream on offer, named Karamell STICK under the label Grandessa. Single-level Edit source text
