Wanxiu (Pinyin Wànxiù Qū, Zhuang Vansiu Gih) is a city district of the district-free city of Wuzhou on the eastern edge of the Guangxi Autonomous Region of Zhuang in the People's Republic of China. It has an area of 439 km² and in 2010 had almost 139,000 inhabitants. Together with the approximately 207,000 inhabitants of the former city district of Dieshan, which was dissolved in February 2013 and was annexed to Wanxiu, Wanxiu is expected to have a population of about 346,000. At the community level, the city district consists of seven road sections and three large communities. Originally part of Wanxiu, the large community of Wangfu (旺 甫 镇) was separated from Wanxiu and annexed to Cangwu County by the annexation of Dieshan. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
