The Palace of the Nobles is a typical example of Italian mannerist architecture. After the earthquake of L'Aquila 2009, the palace was restored and reopened in September 2012.
Today the Palace of the Congregation of Nobles is the seat of the Election Committee of the European Capital of Culture. In the Palace of the Nobles, the municipality of L'Aquila organizes important exhibitions of art. Bibliography
