Gonzalo Julián Martín (Valencia, 1841 - 1902) was a lawyer, journalist and politician from the Valencian Community, Spain. He studied law at the University of Valencia and graduated from the Universidad Central de Madrid. It collaborated in the Mercantile Journal of Valencia and participated in the revolution of 1868 that ended the reign of Isabel II, after which it was judge of the district of the Sea of ​​1870 to 1872. From 1872 to 1874 was secretary of the Delegation of Valencia in substitution of Félix Pizcueta, militated in the Democratic-Radical Party and founded the newspaper El Mercantil Valenciano, placing itself of part of the establishment of the First Republic.

During the Bourbon Restoration he defended republican theses from his diary and criticized the restorationist regime, albeit moderately. From 1879 to 1885 he was a councilor of the City of Valencia, and along with Vicente Dualde was deputy in the Cortes by the electoral district of Valencia to the general elections of 1893. He did not appear for reelection and continued his work as a journalist. >
