Familia Stracci
The Stracci family is a mafia family that appears in the book of Mario Puzo The Godfather and in the film directed by Francis Ford Coppola The Godfather based on the book of Puzo. This family lives in New York (precisely Staten Island) and competes for the power of this city against four other families: the Barzini family, the Cuneo family, the Tattaglia family and the Corleone family. The Stracci family is ruled by Anthony Stracci (in the film is known as Victor Stracci). The Stracci also controlled New Jersey Story in The Godfather (film)
The family is governed by Victor Stracci. Stracci is assassinated when Peter Clemenza (a bonnet of the Corleone family) shoots him with a shotgun when he leaves an elevator. Stracci dies at the same time as the heads of the other rival families, that Moe Green and that Salvatore Tessio. All are murdered by the Corleone family. Moe Green is the owner of some hotels and casinos in Las Vegas, dies not to sell them to the Corleone.Salvatore Tessio are members of the Corleone family, they are executed for selling to the Barzini family.
