Bowness on WindermereBowness-on-Windermere is a town with 3800 inhabitants in Cumbria, right on the shores of the Windermere, the largest lake in England. The place is a popular tourist destination - mainly because of its location right on the lake. But also the author Beatrix Potter attracts visitors, although she had no direct relationship to the place.
