José Silverio Núñez

General Josse Silverio Núñez (? -1858) was a Mexican liberal who fought in the War of Reformation and was Governor of Colima. To the Death of the General Manuel Álvarez is sent to Colima by Guadalajara arriving the 7 of September of 1857. Reinstaló the legislative power after the interinaje of Jose Washington de Velasco, by which he was appointed Governor Provisional. During his government the Civil Registry was established in Colima and the first Constitution of Colima was promulgated the 16 of October of 1857, being president of the Congress of Colima, Ramon R. de la Vega, and secretaries Miguel Escoto and Francisco Vaca. He returned to Guadalajara on January 6, 1858, where he died fighting the conservatives in the Reformation War on October 4 of that year.
