Glen Davies
Glen G. Davies (Kansas City, Kansas, May 21, 1925-Colorado Springs, February 7, 2013) was an American volleyball referee. He was inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame in 1989.
In 1966, Davies was the first American to become a certified FIVB referee. He participated in the first Olympic Games where volleyball was one of the participating sports: 1964 1968, 1972, 1976. Between 1978 and 1982 he directs the Commission of Specific Referees FIVB. He later served as director of the volleyball competition at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
