Aschelminthes
The classification of living beings in systematics is a continuous subject of research. There are different systematic classifications. The taxon treated here has become obsolete through new researches or is not part of the system of the group presented in the German-language Wikipedia.
The tubeworms (Nemathelminthes or Aschelminthes), also known as roundworms or hollowworms, are a group of primordial foes (Protostomia), which were formerly regarded as taxons due to some similarities in their physique. All tubeworms have a strongly developed forearm, which forms a muscular pharynx endowed with cuticular stiffeners. Since the body cavity is not lined with an epithelium, it is usually interpreted as the primary body cavity (blastocoel). In addition, syncytia and multiple cell constancy (eutely) often occur.
