Sha're

Sha're is a character in the Stargate movie and the series derived from it, Stargate SG-1. In the film was interpreted by the actress Mili Avital and in the television series by Vaitiare Bandera. History

Sha're is the daughter Kasuf, the head of a town of inhabitants of the planet Abydos, who ends up falling in love with Daniel Jackson, the archaeologist of the expedition that sends the Earth through the Stargate, with whom he ends up marrying. She is Skaara's sister.

After marrying Daniel, both lived on the planet Abydos for a while, until the beginning of the events of the television series, which begins with the abduction of Sha're by the Goa'uld Apophis. The SG-1 team is looking for her but by the time they arrive she has become the host of another Goa'uld, Amonet, Apophis' partner, along with the escaped.

After a year, Daniel Jackson returns to Abydos and finds that Sha're is going to give birth to the son of Apophis, who having been conceived by the hosts of two goa'uld will have the genetic memory of these, and that therefore he will know all the secrets of these beings. Once the child is born, Amonet regains control of Sha're's body and escapes leaving the child behind, believing that an enemy of Apophis has kidnapped him. Apophis wanted to use this child as his future host.

Amonet returns to Abydos later to enslave its inhabitants and Daniel confronts her. Just as she tries to kill him, Teal'c shoots her with her shuttle, killing both the parasite and the hostess. Using Amonet's hand-held device, Sha're managed to communicate with Daniel before he died and instructed him to find and protect his son.
