The Anellini are a reduced form of the Anelli, which is identical in form, but they have only a quarter the size of an Anelli. Anellini are ring-shaped noodles. They are similar in shape to a slice of Penne and have a smooth surface. The Anellini is almost exclusively used as a soup. The cooking time is six to eight minutes.
