Jonas Valatka

In 1967, Valatka graduated from Kaunas Polytechnic, graduated in mechanics from the Politechnikos institutas in Kaunas in 1973 and became an engineer. From 1973 to 1978 he was a teacher in the vocational school. From 1978 to 1996, he worked as an engineer for the project, then as a director in UAB "Kontūras" and from 2002 to 2009 at the state enterprise VĮ "Lietuvos monetų kalykla" in Vilnius. From 1995 to 1997 he was a member of the Vilnius City Council, and from 1996 to 2000 in the State Parliament (Seimas).
From 1989 to 1999, Valatka was a member of Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija, from 1999 the "Socialdemokratija 2000". Weblinks Edit sourcetext
