He took part in the Ukrainian Championship from 16 to 24 May 2005, made it to the semi-finals and finished the tournament with 7 points of 9 and second place. From 24 August to 2 September 2005 he took part in the individual competition of the Ukrainian national championship in Rivne, winner was Olexander Areschchenko
Since July 2004 he has been awarded the title of International Champion. The standards for this were achieved in tournaments in Simferopol in January 2002, January 2003 and January 2004.
Truskavetsky played for Blik Simferopol in 2001 and 2002 for Blik Simferopol, 2003 for the team of the engineering and pedagogical university Simferopol, 2005 for Rodowit Krim and in 2006 and 2007 for the National Tauric Wernadskyj University.
