Vigilijus Jukna
Vigilijus Jukna (* 23 July 1968 in Kaunas) is a Lithuanian zoo engineer, professor and former politician, from 2012 to 2014 Agriculture Minister. Edit LifeQualtext
After graduating from high school in Kaunas in 1986, he graduated with a diploma in zoological engineering at Lietuvos veterinarijos akademija in 1991. From 1993 to 1996 he was a professor at the Chair for Special Laser Technology at the LVA. From 1991 to 1997 he was a research assistant at the LVA, from 1998 to 2007 lecturer at the Department of Animal Conservation of the LVA, from 2008 to 2012 Professor. From 13 December 2012 to 11 July 2014 he was Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania. He resigned from office, as Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė considered all three of his deputies (Vizeminister) as persons with the "shadow" on the basis of information from the Special Assistance Office (Specialiųjų tyrimų tarnyba).
