Office Ostseestrand

Amt Ostseestrand in the district Nordwestmecklenburg

The five municipalities of Dassow, Harkensee, Kalkhorst, Pötenitz and Selmsdorf were merged into the administrative office of Ostseestrand (district of Nordwestmecklenburg in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). The seat of the administrative office was in Dassow. On 1 January 2004, the municipality of Kalkhorst was integrated into the municipality of Klützer Winkel. The formerly independent municipalities of Harkensee and Pötenitz were integrated into the city of Dassow on 13 June 2004. The office existed from 1992 until the dissolution on 1 January 2005. The remaining municipality Selmsdorf as well as Dassow were transferred to the office of Schönberger Land.
