Juan Guillermo Ríos Ide
Juan Guillermo Ríos Ide (* Concepción April 8, 1925), the third son of the President of Chile Juan Antonio Rios, is a writer. Resident of the United States since 1969, in 1994, Ríos Ide wrote the book Change; the Overhauling of the United States as seen by a Taxpayer [1].
On January 24, 2007, Ríos Ide requested, by letter to the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague - Luis Moreno-Ocampo, the investigation and subsequent prosecution of serious international crimes committed by President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney of the United States. Based on "respect for the Law and Human Rights of people of all nationalities inherited from his father", by a second letter dated March 1, 2007, Ríos Ide requested that the Pre-Trial Chamber of the ICC call him as a witness and victim of such crimes in the preliminary proceedings of a possible investigation and consequent prosecution of Bush and Cheney. The Office of the Chief Prosecutor of the ICC officially confirmed on February 2, 2007 that it had received the request from Ríos Ide.
