Jonas Benson Okoye received the priestly ordination on 29 August 1992.
Pope Francis proclaimed him to the titular bishop of Masclianae and the auxiliary bishop of Awka on 30 May 2014. The Apostolic Nuncio in Nigeria, Archbishop Augustine Kasujja, donated the bishop's ordination to him on 29 August of that year. Co-conspirators were the Archbishop of Onitsha, Valerian Okeke, and the Bishop of Awka, Paulinus Chukwuemeka Ezeokafor. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
