Group Globomedia

The Globomedia Group is a Spanish communication holding active also in Latin America and has a presence in Europe and the United States. It was born in 1995 under the name of Grupo Árbol with the fusion of the audiovisual producers Globomedia (Spain) and Promofilm (Argentina). Also included in the Group are the audiovisual consultant GECA, the Globomedia Music label, Hostoil, distributor Imagina International Sales and the technical company Adisar Media. It has offices in Argentina, Colombia, Brazil and USA.

In 2006 Grupo Árbol last merged with Mediapro and with the British advertising multinational WPP. The new company resulting from the merger, Imagina Media Audiovisual, became the leader in audiovisual production in Spain and one of the leaders in the European market. In 2009, the Árbol Group changed its name to Grupo Globomedia to take advantage of the Globomedia brand image in the audiovisual market.
