Enrique Casal
Enrique Casal and Torrejimeno, Torregimeno or Torre-Gimeno (1883 - Madrid, January 18, 1929), Spanish journalist and writer, father of the musician Enrique Casal Chapí, who used the pseudonyms of "Leon Boyd" and "Miramar" . Biography
He was editor of several Madrid newspapers: Spain, El Universo, La Mañana, El Día de Madrid, Heraldo de Madrid, El Debate and La Moda Elegante. He founded and directed the journal Aristocratic Life and published several volumes of the Aristocratic Year (1914-1918). He emphasized like chronicler of rooms of the Herald and Aristocratic Life, popularizing its pseudonyms "Leon-Boyd" and "Miramar". He cultivated with some success the theater and was friend of the Duke of Béjar, in whose palace of Elche it was lodged in some occasion. He married María Chapí Selva, from whom she had descendants (Enrique, María Luz and Beatriz), the first successful musician. He died at forty-six after a long illness.
