Clitoromegalia

Clitoromegaly is an abnormal increase of the clitoris that should not be confused with the normal increase in clitoral size observed during sexual stimulation. In fact, the fluffy bodies of the clitoris glans, filling with blood during sexual arousal, can give the appearance of a small penis.

Most women have the small clitoris glans, but in a few exceptions can suffer this pathology and their clitoris may show an exaggerated growth. Clitoromegaly may have a congenital origin or be associated with endocrine problems of the adrenal glands.
