Casa Buxareo, also known as Palacio Buxareo, is a building in the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo. The building, completed in 1884, is located in the Center at Avenida Uruguay Andes corner. The construction engineer was Luigi Andreoni. Originally it was the residence of the politician Felix Buxareo (6 of August 1901), after the death of the pair Buxareo, the Archdiocese of Montevideo used it. From 1902 lived Monsignor Mariano Soler, while on the ground floor are the offices of the Curia Church. In 1921 it serves as the seat of the Embassy of France in Uruguay. Literature
