Two candidates (X - the champion and O - the challenger) played for a jackpot. On the quadratic field, there were nine fields to which question categories were assigned. Alternately, one of the candidates searched for a category. If he could answer the question asked, his symbol (X or O) lit up on the playing field. The category was occupied and the amount was added to the jackpot depending on the difficulty of the question. The players had to choose their questions so that a series of three identical symbols (XXX or OOO) arose from the game Tic-Tac-Toe - horizontally, vertically or diagonally. However, the questions in the middle were more difficult to answer. The winner came one round, the loser got a cuckoo clock as consolation prize. Edit other source text
The host Fritz Benscher did not take the game too seriously. He was more interested in the entertainment he promoted with word-wits and casual talks. Single-level Edit source text
