Terambo
Terambo (Greek, Θεράμβως) was an ancient Greek city on the Chalcidice peninsula. It is mentioned by Heródoto like one of the cities - next to Potidea, Afitis, Neápolis, Ege, Escíone, Mende and Sane- located in the peninsula of Palene where Xerxes recruited troops and ships in its expedition of 480 a. C. against Greece.
Later the city belonged to the league of Delos since it is mentioned in lists of tributes to Athens from 454/3 until 429/8 a. C.
It is also mentioned on the Pseudo-Escilax periplo as one of the towns located on the Palene peninsula.
