Juan José Santos Aguado
Juan José Santos Aguado (Zamora, April 16, 1943) is a Spanish diplomat.
Degree in Law and Business Studies, he entered the Diplomatic Career in 1974. He has been assigned to Spanish diplomatic representations in the Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, the United States, Cuba, Belgium and Japan. He was Deputy Director of the Diplomatic School, Consul General of Spain in São Paulo and Head of the Area of Atlantic Affairs. In 2003 he was appointed Second Chief in the Spanish embassy in Riyadh and later, Consul General of Spain in Nador and Second Head in the Spanish embassy in Egypt. From September 2008 to October 2011, he was Spain's ambassador to Qatar, being replaced by María del Carmen de la Peña Corcuera.
