The Ferdinandshof is the former brewery of Ferdinand Schindler in Frankfurt (Oder), built in the middle of the 19th century. To the building complex belong the houses of the Gubener Str. 8, 9 and 9a, directly at the corner to the Ferdinandsberg.
Edit HistoryQual
The Ferdinandshof has a moving history of use: first brewery, since 1921 bed feather factory Siegfried Neumann and finally spirits factory, which made steady changes and additions required. Current situation Edit source text
Since the turn of the century, the construction has been empty and forfeited. This building is one of the last non-renovated buildings in the city. Due to its central location close to the railway station and the city-like chimney, this is particularly striking. Already two years of the study program "Protection of European Culturalists" of the European University Viadrina have accepted this building. In the meantime, an investor has been found, so that a subsequent use is foreseeable. Edit sourcetext Weblinks Edit sourcetext
